Applying

Register in IRK and pay the application fee by bank transfer.
Bachelor's: upload the apostilled Class 12 certificate, an eligibility statement and the NAWA recognition statement, which you request yourself through NAWA's Syrena system.
Take the online maths test.
After conditional acceptance by the faculty coordinator, pay the first semester. The final acceptance letter for the visa follows.

English: B2, for example IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 72. A medium-of-instruction letter counts only as part of a university diploma.

What are Silesian University of Technology fees for Indian students?

English bachelor's programmes cost about PLN 14,584–24,080 a year. Informatics, Power Engineering and Control, Electronic and Information Engineering are the cheapest; Civil Engineering is the most expensive.

Is there an entrance exam?

Yes, a maths exam for bachelor's applicants. It costs €4, and the pass mark is 30%, 9 points out of 30.

Does the Silesian University of Technology refund fees if my visa is refused?

Yes. Its FAQ says tuition is refunded minus bank and courier fees if the visa is refused. There is no refund in other cases, and the application fee is never refunded.

How much are dorms in Gliwice?

PLN 410–670 a month in double or triple rooms, with a €200 refundable deposit on arrival. A place is reserved once you send a scan of your visa.

When are the deadlines?

For October 2026, IRK registration ran from 8 May to 30 July 2026. Dates for February and October 2027 had not been published when we checked.
