Applying from India
Foreign applicants without a Polish ID number register in the IRC system, which opened on 2 February 2026 for the 2026/27 intake. The registration fee is €23, or €27 for programmes with an exam. After an offer, you pay the whole first-year fee within four weeks and no later than 18 September; the university then issues the letter you need for the visa.
Bachelor's applicants upload an apostilled Class 12 certificate and transcript plus the migration certificate, which the university names as the Indian equivalent of its required eligibility statement. Master's applicants need an apostilled degree certificate and transcript; the university gives no specific rule for three-year Indian degrees.
English
B2 is required: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72 (for tests taken before 21 January 2026), PTE Academic 59, Duolingo at B2 level or other tests on the ministry list.

If the visa is refused
This is where Wrocław is better than many Polish universities: the first-year fee comes back, minus €300 if the visa is refused without appeal or €200 after an appeal. Keep the refusal letter.
Housing
University houses cost PLN 720–870 a month for a place in a double room and PLN 1,110–1,500 for a single, valid from October 2026 to June 2027. New fee-paying students in English programmes apply through the international office.
Our view
A sensible first choice for social sciences, law, biotechnology and the sciences, with transparent fees and a fair refund policy. Wrocław is also one of Poland's IT centres, which helps with part-time and graduate jobs.
