The entrance exam and recognition
India is not on the list of countries whose school certificates give direct access to Polish universities. In practice this means two things for Indian bachelor's applicants at AMU:
- your Class 12 certificate needs a recognition document from NAWA;
- you sit an extra entrance exam, unless you hold an IB or European Baccalaureate diploma.
Everything happens online: you upload scans in the admission system, pay PLN 85 per programme (PLN 100 if there is an interview or exam), and download your admission certificate from the system.
Calendar
Bachelor's registration runs from 1 June to 9 July, with exams from 14 to 16 July and results on 20 July. Master's rounds run longer: for International Relations the first round in 2026 ran from 1 June to 31 August, with an interview on 7 September.

Our view
The cheapest serious option in Poland for humanities, international relations and some sciences, in a lively student city. The trade-offs: an extra exam for school leavers, no visa help and no scholarships for new students. Engineering students in Poznań should look at Poznań University of Technology.
