Poznań University of Economics and Business, founded in 1926 and celebrating its centenary this year, teaches a small set of business and finance programmes in English. Fees are the same for Polish and foreign students, which is unusual in Poland.

Applying

The application fee is PLN 85. Indian applicants need a NAWA recognition statement for their school certificate or degree, an apostille and a transcript. The university publishes exact days for bachelor's admission only; master's registration runs from April to July, with results in August.

Our view

A good-value business school in a city with a strong job market for English speakers. The CFA-linked finance degree is a useful head start for investment and banking roles. The offer is small, so compare it with SGH if you want a wider choice.

What are Poznań University of Economics fees for Indian students?

The Bachelor in Business Administration and the Finance (CFA programme) bachelor's cost PLN 13,500 a year. Master's programmes were PLN 14,700 a year in 2025/26.

Is there an entrance exam?

Non-EU applicants whose school certificate does not qualify directly take an online maths exam. In 2026 it was on 21–22 July.

What English score is needed?

B2 in all four skills: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, PTE Academic 59 or a Cambridge exam. A degree taught in English also counts.

Are there scholarships for first-year students?

No. The university says scholarships are not available to students in the first year of undergraduate studies.

When does registration close?

For bachelor's programmes, online registration runs from April to 15 July, with documents due on 30 July and results on 31 July. Classes start on 1 October.
