How to apply
Applications are made online in IRK. For English programmes you pay an application fee of PLN 85, or PLN 100 if the programme has an exam or interview; it is not refunded if you are not admitted. Most programmes interview candidates even when the English certificate meets the minimum.
Indian applicants need an apostilled Class 12 certificate for a bachelor's, or an apostilled degree and transcript for a master's. The university checks Indian three-year degrees case by case.

Fees and payment
English programmes are paid per semester in two instalments, by 15 October and 15 February. The university does not describe a refund for a refused visa; ask before you pay. A fee reduction is possible later in your studies for students with very high grades or in hardship, but never in the first year.
Our view
For a master's in international relations, development or economics, the Jagiellonian name carries weight, and Kraków is one of the most pleasant student cities in Poland. Its English bachelor's offer is small, so school leavers usually do better at AGH for engineering or at the private universities for business.
