Rzeszów University of Technology is famous in Poland for aviation and pilot training, which is why Indian students search for it. The aviation programme, however, is taught in Polish only. In English the university offers four programmes, at some of the lowest fees in the country.

About aviation

The Polish-language programme Lotnictwo i kosmonautyka (Aviation and Astronautics) is what made Rzeszów known. To join it you need Polish at a level good enough to study. If you want aerospace engineering in English, look at Warsaw University of Technology or the Silesian University of Technology instead. Neither of those is a flying school.

Applying from India

Register in the SIR system and pay the PLN 85 fee (PLN 150 for Architecture).
Request a NAWA statement on your school certificate.
Sit the maths entrance exam. In 2026 there were dates in June and September.
Send documents in person or as notarised copies by post. Registration for October 2026 ran until 14 September.

English: B2 in four skills, for example IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 72.

Our view

A cheap and calm option for civil or chemical engineering. Do not choose it for flying: the course is not available in English.

No. Aviation and Astronautics, which includes pilot training, is taught in Polish. The faculty's list of English programmes was empty when we checked.

Which programmes does Rzeszów University of Technology teach in English?

For 2026/27: Chemical Engineering and Technology, Civil Engineering and Modern Management at bachelor's level, and Modern Management as a master's.

What are the fees?

PLN 5,600–9,900 a year: Modern Management is the cheapest and Chemical Engineering the most expensive.

What do Indian applicants have to do?

India is in the university's stricter Group II. You need a NAWA statement on your Class 12 certificate, an apostille, and a pass in the maths entrance exam.

How much are dorms in Rzeszów?
