How to read these numbers
- The sample is small. 44 candidates in eleven years, one to ten per university for most of them.
- It is growing. Half of all Polish candidates sat the exam in 2024–2025.
- The rate is respectable. Half of Polish candidates passed, and Gdańsk's record is consistent across several years.
- Preparation matters more than the school. A European curriculum does not follow the Indian syllabus; plan coaching for the final year.
Method
We parsed the NBEMS PDF reports ourselves and matched university names across years (for example, "Medical University of Gdansk" and "Medical University of Gdansk Faculty of Medicine"). The 2019 report was read from an archived copy because the official link did not open. If you spot a discrepancy with an NBEMS report, write to us via the contact page.
