Getting around

Buses cover the city. There is no passenger airport; Warsaw is about two and a half hours by train, and Warsaw's Chopin and Modlin airports are the usual way to fly home.

Life

Białystok is surrounded by forests, including the Białowieża Forest, one of the last primeval forests in Europe. The Indian community is small and mostly linked to the medical university.
