How Polish degrees are organised

  • Bachelor's (licencjat or inżynier): three years, or three and a half for engineering degrees that end with the inżynier title.
  • Master's (magister): one and a half to two years after a bachelor's.
  • Long-cycle master's: five or six years straight from school, for medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, psychology, law and veterinary medicine.

Programmes without a page of their own

Some subjects are taught in English at only one or two universities: cyber security (UMCS), veterinary medicine (SGGW and UWM), graphic design (PJAIT and UMCS), textile and fashion design (Lodz Tech), aquaculture (ZUT), mining and oil and gas engineering (AGH), geodesy (UWM), applied mathematics (Wrocław Tech), archaeology (University of Warsaw), liberal arts (AMU) and nursing (Gdańsk's medical university). You will find them in the programme tables on each university's page.
