When Germany is the better choice
If you speak German or can reach B2 before you start, have strong marks for competitive admission, and can block €11,904, Germany gives you free tuition and the largest job market in Europe. For engineering master's with a good BTech, it is hard to beat.

When Poland is the better choice
- You want a bachelor's in English straight after Class 12.
- Your marks are good but not top: Polish public universities are less competitive for English programmes.
- You cannot block €11,904 at once.
- You want medicine in English: German medicine is taught in German.
A middle path
Some students do a bachelor's in Poland and then a master's in Germany. A Polish degree is a Bologna degree, recognised across the EU. See bachelor's degrees in Poland.
