Disbursal and the zloty
Lenders pay tuition straight to the university, semester by semester. Because about half the Polish universities charge in zloty, the rupee amount changes with the exchange rate; ask the lender to sanction a margin of 5–10% above today's figure.
Tax
Interest on an education loan is deductible under Section 80E for up to eight years. Remittances funded by an education loan carry a lower or no TCS compared with self-funded transfers; ask your bank which rate applies in your year.
