Dentistry in Poland for Indian Students: Seven Universities, Fees in Rupees and the DCI Question
Seven Polish universities teach a five-year dentistry degree (DMD or DDS) in English. Fees are close to those for medicine, from ₹15 lakh to ₹22 lakh a year in euros, and places are few: Pomeranian Medical University has 30, the Medical University of Silesia 36.

A dentist's licence is national. To practise in Poland you will need Polish and the LDEK, the dental equivalent of the LEK. To practise in India you need to pass the screening required by the Dental Council of India. Ask the DCI and the university about both before paying. How much does dentistry cost in Poland?
First-year tuition ranges from €14,000 at Pomeranian Medical University to €20,900 at the Medical University of Warsaw, and PLN 68,400–78,700 at the schools that charge in zloty. Five-year totals run from about €69,000 to €104,500.
Is a Polish dentistry degree valid in India?
Foreign dental graduates need to clear the screening process set by the Dental Council of India before registration. Check the DCI's current rules before you apply; they are separate from the NMC rules for medicine.
Which Polish universities teach dentistry in English?
Warsaw, Jagiellonian (Kraków), Poznań, Łódź, Wrocław, Silesia (Katowice) and Pomeranian (Szczecin). Gdańsk lists dentistry in English but did not publish a fee we could read; Białystok plans to open it in October 2027.
Is the admission the same as for medicine?
Mostly. The same exams and interviews apply, but the windows can be earlier: Jagiellonian's dentistry application in 2026 ran from 23 February to 29 April.
Do I need NEET for dentistry in Poland?
Polish universities do not ask for it. Check whether the Dental Council of India requires NEET for foreign dental graduates in your year of admission.
